The Fiery Furnace in Arches National Park is on of the
coolest places in the park I think. We signed up for a Ranger led walk on this
section of the park. You have to either get a permit to hike in the Fiery
Furnace or sign up for the Ranger led hike because it looks pretty easy to get
lost in the maze of rocks if you don’t know what you're doing. We asked
about tickets for the ranger led walk on Saturday and they had availability on
the Monday hike. Make sure to ask a few days before you want to do this hike
because the hikes fill up daily.
Our ranger taught us about the rocks we saw and other things
along the way. The hike took about 3 hours but we went at a nice slow pace so
we could really enjoy it all. It rained for about half of our hike. I can't complain about the temperature or weather here so far even if it did rain on the hike because if I can hike for a few hours without becoming a sweaty mess that's ok with me!
Here are some photos from our Fiery Furnace hike!-
