Vermont Castings

As I think about the cooollllddddd winter coming up I think about how nice it would be to have one of these beautiful Vermont Castings Stoves!

How cozy and beautiful do these look?!

Each week I tend to make a list of things I find that I want to make (usually all my finds come from Pinterest!)

When inspiration strikes me, I start to crafting or baking or cooking! Here are some of my recent creations.

This pumpkin chocolate chip bundt cake tastes so so good but looks so so bad. I took it out of the pan too soon I think. I let it cool for 15 minutes and when I went to pop it out of the pan it broke in the middle and then the top came right out, not sticking at all. Ohh well, you win some, you loose some. I'll still eat it!

I found the recipe while surfing pinterest. If you would like to make one, here is the link to the recipe. May you have better luck getting it out of the pan.

I've also been seeing fabric rosettes everywhere lately! I think they are so cute and started crafting my own. it took about 3 tries before I made a rosette that looked cute so give yourself time for trial and error. I found that having thin strips of fabric about 1/2 inch wide works best. I also used fabric glue which worked well, I started out using hot glue which was not as easy to work with.

After making a few rosettes I sewed them together to make a necklace!

I still have some pumpkin puree left over and I am thinking about making these Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins with it. Looks good! Here is the link to the recipe. Of course I found these also surfing pinterest.

Happy creating, whatever you like creating!

Bobcat Spotting

Last night I saw a real live Bobcat in the wild! It was about 9 pm and I was about 20 feet from it. I was getting out of the car in a parking lot near some trees but still in the middle of the city when I spotted it. The Bobcat looked at me as I looked at and then just walked into the woods.

This is the second time I've seen a Bobcat in Kansas. The first one I saw walking near the highway.

I love seeing animals and I'm always surprised by the variety I've seen around here in Kansas and Missouri.

Neat huh?

Let's Go Camping!

So, y'all know Matt and I now have an Airstream travel trailer! We are currently renovating it so we won't be camping in it for about a year. When we do get to go camping in it, I am really looking forward to going to Yellowstone!

And I also can't wait to go camping on the beach!

How amazing does that look!?
