This is the Mt. Washington Resort: pretty spectacular right!?
While we were exploring the hotel and grounds I couldn't help but day dream about a future vacation to this place. I think a 3-4 day get away would be just perfect to enjoy this over 100 year hotel. It would be lovely to go in the fall to see the leaves change, in the winter to ski or in the summer to enjoy cool mountain days.
Here's the view from the back of the hotel looking up the mountain to the Cog Railway-
The big porch wraps around the whole hotel and would be great for spending a morning drinking coffee and chatting or an afternoon reading and playing checkers!
There's also a pretty pool with a nice view of your surroundings-
A pretty river runs through the resort separating the hotel from the golf course-
The hotel is also the place where the IMF was created-
If you make here for vacation before I do, please send me a postcard. In addition to the pretty views, golf course, nearby skiing, and pool there's also antiquing, fly fishing, canoeing, tennis, horseback riding, biking and hiking trails!
